Oreo Brings Back the Three Layer Brookie-O For a Limited Time

The Brookie-O Oreo has made its long-awaited return after debuting in 2021.

Of the 65 Oreo flavors introduced since 2012, the Brookie-O stood out amongst its fellow cookie family members for its unique three-layer flavor. While the chocolate cookies remain intact, Brookie-O’s stacked filling makes it a fan favorite. One bite into the Brookie-O will unleash a tasty punch of brownie-flavored cream, followed by Oreo’s original cream with cookie dough flavored cream to top it off. One bite into the Brookie-O is reminiscent of a three-layered cake, only in crunchy form. 

Over the years, the famous cookie brand has found unique ways to switch up its style to appeal to taste buds everywhere. Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, and even Pumpkin Spice Oreos have attracted a new breed of snackers to the brand, which has been around since 1912.

Brookie-O’s were unveiled in January 2021 as a limited edition, but Oreo’s was left with no choice but to bring back this one-of-a-kind treat to their massive offering due to an outpouring of pleas.

The official Oreo Instagram suggests using the Brookie-O’s in various baking goods to create a new type of dessert this holiday season. Or, if you prefer your Brookie-O’s as is, you can pick up a pack today at your local grocery store.
