Oklahoma Sooner DB Kass Everett was caught on twitter talking about how he did not have enough money to buy the game Grand Theft Auto Five. A former Oklahoma Sooner football player Tony Jefferson offered to buy the game for the player but the twitter exchange was caught by Oklahoma’s Compliance office. As you can see, @OUCompliance confirmed that Tony Jefferson could not buy the game for Kass Everett and he would be considered a booster providing benefits if he did.
Later on that day, Kass Everett tweeted a picture of the game and said, “Now I know it’s real.” Hmmmmm I wonder where he got the game from?? Yes college football fans this is serious business and I am wondering if it was all worth this trouble just for a video game. Watch what you tweet College Athletes! Your university is watching!
