Indiana Pacers Ty Lawson was sentenced in his Denver drunk driving case but fortunately for him, he has avoided jail time.
If you recall, back in November Lawson pled guilty to driving while impaired stemming from his arrest on January 23, 2015.
While prosecutors wanted a harsher punishment, Lawson was sentenced to 12 months probation, Â 48 hours of community service and 52 hours of therapy. Lawson must also refrain from using marijuana, and comply with monitored sobriety checks.
Lawson has acknowledged his mistakes and is trying to focus on his career.
