Paris Hilton is opening up about her past abusive relationship for the first time, and she shares that Kim Kardashian inspired her to freeze her eggs.
In a new interview with The Sunday Times, a promotional piece for her upcoming YouTube series This Is Paris, the star discusses a variety of things, including her traumatic childhood, her current romances, and her past abusive relationships. She says that her old destructive love affair brought her to her new boo, entrepreneur #CarterReum.
The socialite also opened up about how she was allegedly abused at the Provo Canyon School, which she says was the start of her tumultuous ties to abusive men, Entertainment Tonight reports. “I accepted it because I almost thought it was normal,” Paris says in the documentary per The Sunday Times. “It was like, ‘He loves me so much that he’s going this crazy,’ and I just wanted love so bad that I was willing to accept being hit or yelled at or screamed at or strangled, or a lot of things.”
Her love for Reum is one she says was sent to her by an angel, her grandmother. “I feel like my grandmother sent him to save me. I love him so much,” says Hilton to The Sunday Times. While the socialite has been engaged twice before, she says this time is different.” I’ve said ‘He’s the one’ before just because I always wanted to portray, ‘I’m so happy with the perfect life, the perfect boyfriend,’ but I never truly felt that. I was just acting.”
Instead of having a big, glamorous wedding, she is opting for something smaller and more intimate. But when it comes to starting a family, She says that she considered freezing her eggs because of friend Kim. “I had a really amazing conversation with Kim [Kardashian] about it. She introduced me to her doctor, and I was so inspired by her to actually do it,” she says. “I think every woman should do it because you can really control it and not have that, ‘Oh my God, I need to get married.'”
As for children, she’s hoping she gets a girl first. “I’m obsessed with dressing them up and having a mini-me, or twins, because then you get both [girl and boy] at once.”
