Paris Jackson has mostly remained silent in regards to her father, Michael Jackson’s recent resurfacing of Sexual Assault allegations following the release of ‘Leaving Neverland.’ But she recently addressed her lack of response to the allegations made against her late father, in a series of tweets.
“There’s nothing i can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defense. “[Cousin] Taj [Jackson] is doing a perfect job on his own. And i support him,” the 20-year-old model tweeted over the weekend.
She then went on to explain why she feels defending her father is not her responsibility. “But that’s not my role,” she tweeted. “I’m just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. That’s me.”
She added, “I know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up. But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also…. It feels better to mellow out,” encouraging her followers to hit the blunt and chill.
Jackson’s estate filed a $100 million lawsuit against HBO to fight back against the documentary’s release with Michael Jackson’s brothers and his nephew Taj, leading the fight. Marlon Jackson previously told USA TODAY he had “no interest in watching something that has no validity to it.” Taj spoke on the claims Wade Robson made in the documentary: “It’s never been about justice for him. It’s always been about fame and money.”
