People were wondering where #ParisJackson was for her Aunt #JanetJackson’s performance, and she’s letting all the haters know that it ain’t nobody’s business.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sunday evening, Janet gave an outstanding performance at the 2018 Billboard Awards singing some of her iconic hits. Right on the sidelines sat Janet’s mother Katherine Jackson, nephew #PrinceJackson and her sister Rebbie in support. Following Janet’s performance her nephew, Austin Brown, shared an inspirational post on Instagram to show his pride.

“Couldn’t be more proud of my aunt for not only delivering a stellar performance but also showing people greatness is ageless,” the singer wrote. “Congrats on your Icon award.” The next morning, Paris shared a screenshot on her IG story with the caption, “Ditto.” Afterwards, the 20-year-old received backlash for not supporting her beloved aunt. But Paris had a few words for those with negative comments.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Dear social media followers, friends, stalkers, lovers and haters, and fellow moonwalkers: Please do not tell me/demands/try to control how I handle my relationship with the people in my life, specifically my family. As amazing and as s–tty as things can be, it is no one’s business but ours. I understand that some of you feel some sort of connection or need to be a part of our lives considering you watched us grow up. However, I am handling my situation exactly how my father did. And I am happy keeping it that way. I will always have love and respect for my family. ALWAYS,” Paris wrote. “There is nothing more or less than that, that you need to know.”

The singer added, “We ain’t inferior or superior to y’all. We’re all f–king human. So let’s act like it.”
