A judge has sealed the paternity lawsuit against Tristan Thompson days after he requested a gag order in the case.
The NBA pro is currently embroiled in a legal battle with fitness model Maralee Nichols, who claims Thompson got her pregnant and then demanded that she have an abortion and even offered her $75,000. Nichols filed a paternity lawsuit before giving birth to her baby boy last week.
The Sacramento Kings star asked for a gag order to prevent his former personal trainer from making any further public claims against him. He accused Nichols of leaking intimate information about him in his court filings, causing him “extreme distress.” He also slammed the 30-year-old for trying to become famous by having a child with him.
In text messages that were provided in Nichols lawsuit, Thompson told the model that he wanted “zero involvement” with the child and that she’d only receive a few hundred dollars in child support once he retires from the NBA.
Thompson admitted to having sex with Nichols in March during his birthday festivities while still in a relationship with baby mama #2, Khloe Kardashian, but vehemently denies fathering the child. He has demanded a paternity test, though one has not yet been scheduled.
The case was listed as SEALED on the online viewing portal as of Thursday.
