It’s been two years since Paul Pierce was released from ESPN after a very colorful Instagram Live featuring a few exotic dancers. “The Truth” seemingly took a shot at the lead NBA show on ESPN for their James Harden coverage amid his trade to the Clippers.
The Celtics legend took to Twitter to express his disdain for the James Harden trade coverage while also plugging him and former teammate Kevin Garnett’s show ‘Ticket and Truth.’

“If y’all want to hear us talk about the James Harden trade, I mean who do you wanna hear? Come get our take this week. Me and Ticket, or you can listen to them talk about this trade,” Pierce said while showing the ESPN’s NBA Today crew.
“If you want to hear some real insider. Come to Death Row!”
Pierce channeled his inner Suge Knight addressing one of the ESPN shows that has received criticism lately. With new-age media, specifically with players having their own platforms, there have been a lot of opportunities for fans to get real perspectives from people who played the game. Unfiltered and raw, that’s what every true fan is looking for.
