Peloton has pulled last week’s ad featuring “Sex And The City” and “And Just Like That” star Chris Noth after sexual assault allegations were made against the actor by two women in a damning report in “The Hollywood Reporter.”
The actor who played the “Mr. Big” in the popular HBO franchise series has adamantly denied the allegations, but Peleton isn’t taking any chances with bad press.
The exercise media and equipment company pulled the ad less than a week after its debut.
“Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously,” a Peloton spokesperson told CNBC. “We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO’s reboot. As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts.”
The reaction comes one day after a report in “The Hollywood Reporter” was published, where two women accused the actor of rape.
