Penn State Pedophile Jerry Sandusky Resentenced To 30 To 60 Years On Child Sex Abuse Charges

Former Penn State University assistant football coach #JerrySandusky has been resentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.

On Friday, the 75-year-old Penn State pedophile was resentenced with the same amount of prison time he was initially given back in 2012 when he was found guilty of 45-count child molestation conviction. Sandusky still maintains that he is innocent of the crimes.

According to CBS News, the decision comes after a state appeals court turned down most of Sandusky’s arguments seeking a new trial back in February. However, the court said laws mandating sentence minimums in place at the time of his October 2012 sentencing had since changed.

As Sandusky was arriving to court, he was questioned if he still claims to be innocent by CBS affiliate WTAJ, to which he responded, “Oh, absolutely.” A smile was planted on his face when the names of his 10 victims were called out and when his victims’ statements were read.

When it was time to make his statement to the court, he cried as he said, “To my supporters out there, I just want to say I love you.” Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse in 2012; his counts included involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault and unlawful contact with minors.
