Pepa, of Salt-N-Pepa, is suing her plastic surgeon after he allegedly botched her butt surgeries multiple times.
According to TMZ, Pepa, whose real name is Sandra Denton, filed a lawsuit against Dr. David Sayah for negligence. She claims he talked her into three separate procedures to repair the damage she suffered during a car accident in July of 2018.
According to legal documents, the biopolymer injections in her butt and hips shift, causing her pain. She was referred to Dr. Sayah in September of 2019 to remove the biopolymer and butt implants. Instead, he convinced her to get smaller implants, claiming she would be unhappy without them.
Instead of replacing her implants, she alleges he performed unsuccessful liposuction, which forced her into another corrective procedure. He then pressured Pepa into another surgery that caused her butt to harden and knot up, making it difficult for her to perform.
Sayah performed a third surgery on the rapper in February of 2020. She thought he was finally going to remove the fills. After experiencing more pain, she sought a second opinion. After an MRI, it was discovered that she still had a “large amount of biopolymer silicone and dead scar tissue remaining.”
Pepa is suing Dr. Sayah over the botched procedures, saying she will likely suffer from the damage for the rest of her life. She also says that she will need more surgery in the future.
