Pete Davidson won’t be blasting into space on one of Jeff Bezos‘s Blue Origin shuttles later this month, after all. The company pushed back the launch date by six days.
Blue Origin tweeted Thursday night that the “Saturday Night Live“ host will not be joining the NS-20 crew.
“Blue Origin’s 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29. Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days,” the company said on Twitter.
On March 23, Davidson, 28, was set to launch into low-Earth orbit with investors Marty Allen, Sharon Hagle of SpaceKids Global, her husband, Tricor International CEO Mark Hagle, entrepreneur Jim Kitchen, and Commercial Space Technologies President George Nield.
