Social media went crazy over a joke that Ice Spice and Pete Davidson were dating. The rumor garnered a lot of buzz that eventually fizzled.
Twitter users ran with the story, despite the “this is satire,” disclaimer, only to learn it was just another joke like many other headline catchers that have gone viral.
The comedian is known for dating some high-profile women, including Kim Kardasian and he’s currently linked to Chase Sui Wonders.
“Pete Davidson keeps taking them all…I wonder who’s next after icespice, a user tweeted.
“Pete Davidson is tall, funny, takes his little pills and goes to therapy so why are gall surprised that he can pull girls like Kim and Ice Spice,” one user questioned.
Davidson has been compared to Marvel’s Thanos, dating beautiful women like the villain takes infinity stone, TMZ said.
And people are amazed by it. However, this time it’s not real.
