Pete Davidson is staying relevant, booked and busy! The SNL comedian is heading to space.
Davidson is officially launching into space after a billionaire dinner with Jeff Bezos in his Los Angeles home accompanied by girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
Davidson, 28, will be joined with six other astronauts embarking on Blue Origin’s 20th mission to space on March 23 at 8 am.
He will launch from Launch Site one in West Texas. The 20th mission will carry a postcard for Blue Origin’s foundation Club for the Future. The organization’s mission is to inspire future generations to get involved with STEM.
The flight crew reportedly also includes Marty Allen, angel investor and CEO of Party America; Sharon Hagle, founder of the SpaceKids Global nonprofit; her husband Marc Hagle, president and CEO of Tricor International; Jim Kitchen, a teacher at the University of North Carolina, entrepreneur and explorer who has visited all 193 U.N. recognized countries; and Dr. George Nield, the president of Commercial Space Technologies, LLC.
Davidson has always wanted to go to space and has talked with Bezos since earlier this month. The flight will be 11 minutes like previous astronauts’ missions, William Shatner, Jeff Bezos, and Michael Strahan.
