Pete Davidson Quit Instagram Over Excess Fan Mail, Not Kanye West Bullying

While Kanye West felt that he was the reason Pete Davidson abruptly quit Instagram, sources say the comedian was overwhelmed with the number of messages he was receiving.

On Thursday, the “Jesus Walks” rapper and fashion mogul celebrated the fact that he’d seemingly scrapped Davidson, who he calls “Skete,” from his timeline. However, according to the insider, the Saturday Night Live star was receiving a massive amount of positive and negative messages. The overwhelming communication and access to him reminded Davidson why he failed to join social media in the first place. The source says that the Ye slander had nothing to do with Davidson’s decision.

“Kanye didn’t drive Pete off social media,” they reiterated.

West has been embroiled in an online smear campaign against Davidson ever since it was revealed that the 28-year-old is dating Ye’s soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian says she is so overwhelmed by West’s social media outbursts that she is now pleading with a judge to declare her legally single, as the online attacks are causing her emotional distress.

Kanye West has not publicly responded to this latest revelation. Still, judging by his deep-rooted hate for Davidson and desperate pleas to win back Kim, it is only a matter of time before Ye takes shots at the couple again.
