Pete Davidson is ready to become a father. The comedian opened up his dream of having children on Kevin Hart‘s TV show Hart to Heart.
“Definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid. That’s, like, my dream. Yeah, and so it’s, like, super corny,” Davidson said.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian then briefly touched on his childhood and how it was “not great” since his father died on 9/11. Scott Davidson (his father) and five other firemen died on one of the scariest days in American history, helping others escape. His badge number is tattooed on Davidson.
As Davidson admission to wanting children comes a couple of months after his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, who shares four children with Kanye West, said she was open to having more children.
He tells Hart, “It would be so fun dress up a little dude, like, or you know, like, you saw it’s just, like, I’m so excited for, like, that chapter. So, like, that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is trying to be, like, as good of a dude and develop and get better, so when that happens, it’s just easier.”
Davidson also told Charlamagne tha God that he thinks it would be “awesome” to be a dad. At the time, he said, “I want to be there for something or do something that I didn’t have growing up. That’s my biggest thing. I just want to have a kid, that’s it. … [They] would keep me around, keep my head up.”
Children may be very soon for the two as he gets along well with Kardashian’s children.
