Change.org is petitioning to have Kanye West removed from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The platform uploaded the petition on Thursday, which came shortly after Kanye’s 24-hour Instagram ban. If you’re not up to speed, Kanye is banned from the app for violating its bullying and harassment policies.
In addition to taunting his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson, Ye fired shots at comedian D.L. Hughley and TV host Trevor Noah.
“We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate, and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now,” the petition said. “No one seems to want to stand up to him. And the ones that do, he puts under fire as well. Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm to others. This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this. Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform.”
Kanye will be headlining the upcoming Coachella festival next month. The music festival will be located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The lineup features Harry Styles, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, City Girls, etc.
