Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks, has been taking a lot of flack lately. Not only for the fact that she filed for divorce from her husband who is facing 8 years in jail but also because many feel she was in on his illegal activity. Phaedra sat down with Ellen Degeneres recently to explain that she had no idea what Apollo was up to because he lied to her.
When Ellen asked if Phaedra had any idea of about the fraud charges, Phaedra answered, “I really didn’t. I work. I just got my fifth college degree. I am pretty much an over achiever. I have two very small children. I just stopped breast feeding three months ago. So I really didn’t have any idea that any of this was going on until he called me and said, “Hey, Ive been arrested and I’m having this problem but it’s not true.” so I went out of my way to get him the best attorneys, I wanted him to have the best so we could fight this together but obviously it didn’t turn out like that.”
Hmm… I’m not sure about this one Phaedra. While I understand you are a busy woman, a mother of two small children at that, where did she think he was getting all the money to support them? I mean, prior to the kids, she knew he was a criminal. She wasn’t THAT busy to think that he wouldn’t go back to that lifestyle, was she?
