You know it’s a cold world when you get stabbed by a stripper at the strip club. Errick Epperson is suing Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club in Philadelphia after a stripper stabbed him for denying her lap dance offer.
According to Epperson, Iraida Rivera, one of the club’s dancers, drunkenly approached him for a private dance, but when he denied her, she broke a glass and stabbed him in the neck with it. Epperson says that he had to have emergency surgery and now he’s both physically and emotionally scarred for life. He also says that after the stabbing, Rivera was fired from the club for bad behavior, but was eventually rehired.
Back in October 2011, Iraida Rivera was arrested in Bucks County, PA when she brutally beat up a woman on a highway. She was charged with felony aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct engage in fighting, harassment, criminal mischief and obstruction of highways. It’s unknown whether Rivera was arrested for this more recent incident.
Epperson is suing the gentlemen’s club for just north of $50,000. Do you think he deserves a pay day? Should the strip club be held responsible. I personally believe he’s aiming too low. What are your thoughts?
