Kanye West‘s past bullying antics have resulted in a lawsuit. The rapper was hit with a lawsuit over a photo he used to troll a Vogue editor.
The picture in question is of Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. Last year, Ye went on a rant after the contributing editor said his “White Lives Matter” shirt was both dangerous and irresponsible.
Following her critique, Ye slammed Karefa-Johnson by posting a picture of her saying, she’s “not a fashion person.” However, the focal point of the lawsuit lies in West’s utilization of the image, which professional photographer Michaela Efford originally took. Efford claims that she never granted West the right to use the photograph, and now she’s coming for his pockets.
Michaela says she photographed Gabriella in September and notes the rapper used the pic on his social media about 1 week later. She’s now claiming that Kanye posting the photo without her permission has harmed her ability to market, adding that he also made money off the pic.
She’s seeking unspecified damages.
