Bella Hadid is being sued for posting a picture of herself that was used without the photographer’s permission.
According to the NY Post, the supermodel shared a photo of herself out and about in NYC, wearing a black-and-white-houndstooth Tommy Hilfiger cap to her 28.5 million followers back on Sept. 9.
The Brooklyn photographer, Timur Mishiev, who snapped the image, claims the supermodel had no right to post the photo and claims its infringing on his copyright, according to Manhattan Federal Court papers. He is seeking unspecified damages.
Hadid is not the first celebrity to face this type of lawsuit. Another photographer is suing Kim Kardashian West, accusing her of copyright infringement for posting a photo he took of her and husband, Kanye West, without permission.
