Photos of Matt Barnes After Nightclub Fight Surface to Prove Barnes was Not the Aggressor

Matt

Earlier this week we reported, per TMZ, that Matt Barnes was involved in an altercation, during a night out on the town in NYC. Since then, Barnes has been adamant that he was not the aggressor in the situation, claiming he was simply defending himself.

To further corroborate his story, Barnes took photos of himself after leaving Avenue Nightclub. The photos, subsequently obtained by TMZ Sports, show scratches and cuts to the front and back of the baller’s neck, proving that he was in fact attacked.

According to the publication, Barnes also took pictures of his hands and fists, which don’t show any bruising or lacerations, which suggests he didn’t actually punch anyone.

However, Barnes, along with his Sacramento Kings teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, are being sued by the other two people involved in the nightclub showdown, TMZ reports, a man and a woman who claim the ballers attacked them, unprovoked.

However, the ballers claim the allegations are not true, insisting they were attacked first and in turn, defended themselves.
