Smash or Pass? Pickle-Flavored Hard Seltzer Is Headed To Several Whole Foods Locations

If you’re a shameless pickle eater who can also appreciate a good spritz, there is a new collaborative beverage handcrafted just for you.

Grillo’s Pickles, the 100-year-old pickle brand, has teamed up with Two Robbers for an unlikely partnership. Pickle Hard Seltzer will be debuting, and fans of both companies are stoked. Two Robbers, which was founded in 2017, is a Philadelphia-based hard seltzer company that does not include any added sugars in its drinks. Instead, they use only natural sweeteners for a clean, fresh taste. The new pickle flavor is no exception.

The Pickle Hard Seltzer will use Grillo’s famous brine, which is a concoction of dill, garlic, vinegar, and sea salt, and blend it with Two Robbers crisp ingredients to make a sparking pickle spritz with a splash of alcohol, a 5% ABV to be exact.

“I’m excited to bring our signature brine to customers as a ready-to-drink beverage with a twist,” stated Eddie Andre, Vice President of Brand at Grillo’s Pickles.

Two Robber’s deal with Grillo’s marks the company’s first-ever partnership, something that co-founder Vikram Nayar is overjoyed about. He says the agreement “makes perfect sense,” as both companies work tirelessly to bring their customers products free of artificial preservatives.

Customers can expect to start seeing the Pickle Hard Seltzer across the Northeast region of the United States in the upcoming days. Stores such as Whole Foods, Acme, and select Total Wines will be carrying this unique adult quencher. You can find a complete list of locations at TwoRobbers.com.
