Pink’s battle with COVID-19 had her fighting for her life. The singer opened up about her illness during an interview on Mark Wright’s Heart Radio show.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Pink revealed that she and her 4-year-old son Jameson were diagnosed with the virus in March of 2020, and her struggle with the illness had her so afraid for her life that she rewrote her will.
Her husband Carey Hart and 9-year-old daughter, Willow, did not get Covid, which left her worried for their future.
“It was really, really bad, and I rewrote my will,” she said. “…At the point where I thought it was over for us, I called my best friend, and I said, ‘I just need you to tell Willow how much I loved her.’ It was really, really scary and really bad,” Pink recalled.
The emotional experience inspired Pink’s new song, “All I Know So Far,” which she described as “a letter to my daughter.”
The song will be released in time for Mother’s Day, and a documentary and a new album of the same name are set to be released on May 21.
