Upon the reemergence of the New Millennium boy bands, Pleasure P – the lead singer of the R&B group Pretty Ricky – narrowly escaped a weekend in jail after a DUI landed him in the bookings Friday morning.
According to TMZ, Pleasure was out in Miami celebrating his birthday when he was busted and booked for a DUI, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and resisting an officer. In the police report obtained by the publication, police say Pleasure was spotted weaving in and out of traffic at over 100 MPH in a 65.
When Pleasure was pulled over, officials say they ordered the singer out of the car and attempted to detain him, but he resisted. According to the publication, Pleasure was eventually arrested, reeking of alcohol, and blew twice the legal limit.
Fortunately for the singer, he was released after posting bail, but not before he asked police to call his lawyer, a supervisor, Shaq and Flo Rida for the inconvenience.
