Police are alerting pawn shops in the Los Angeles area to be on the lookout for rapper PnB Rock’s jewelry following his murder in a robbery earlier this week.
The documents obtained by TMZ say that the LAPD is still investigating the armed robbery and actively looking for the suspected killer.
Police have reportedly spoken with PnB’s friends and family to determine what kind of jewelry he was wearing at the time of his murder. Detectives have contacted local pawn shops and requested them to alert the police if anyone tries to sell the stolen items.
LAPD Chief, Michel Moore, said the rapper’s location was tagged in an Instagram post shortly before the shooting.
Detectives are currently investigating whether PnB’s social media post contributed to his murder.
According to reports, the armed robbery and shooting were captured on video, but the footage is blurry. Police are still looking in the area for other cameras so that they could possibly ID the getaway car.
As you may know, PnB was shot and killed in an armed robbery at the Roscoes Chicken and Waffles in LA on Monday (Sept 12).
