Police are investigating two explosions that occurred less than two hours apart in Pennsylvania on Sunday night.
According to police, the first incident occurred in the 3600 block of Penn Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Security footage showed an incendiary device thrown from a white pickup truck. Shortly after, at around 10:30 p.m., the second explosion went off in the 200 block of Dinwiddie Street in the Hill District, just a 10-minute drive from the first report.
Police say that no injuries were reported, but a parked vehicle was damaged.
The second incident’s video footage is still being investigated by the city’s fire investigation unit and bomb squad.
Police say that residents reported a shake in their homes and smelling “some type of odor.” Explosive detection dogs were deployed, but no evidence was recovered.
The explosions came about a week after a bomber in Nashville, Tennessee, set off an explosion Christmas morning that injured at least three people and damaged more than 40 businesses.
The suspected bomber was identified as 63-year-old Anthony Warner, and he was the only person killed in the blast.
Police are searching for a white pickup truck in connection with the incident.
