Police have identified the passenger who died alongside NFL player Jeff Gladney in a car accident Monday.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Dept. said the Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Gladney, 25, and the 26-year-old woman he was dating, Mercedes Andrea Palacios, were both killed in an early Monday morning wreck.
The sheriff’s report indicates Gladney and Palacios were in a speeding vehicle that clipped another vehicle from behind on the service road of a Dallas freeway. Gladney’s vehicle lost control and struck a pier beam and then overturned in a grassy area.
The two passengers of the other car were not harmed.
