Police Suspect Close Friends Involved In Chris Brown Robbery

Many are kicking around several theories as to who could have been involved in the armed robbery that took place in Chris Brown’s home last week. There has been speculation that club promoters were involved and now it appears police believe some of Chris’ closest friends may have set the entire thing up. 

TMZ is reporting that they have spoken to law enforcement sources who believe Chris’ friends could have been involved. They don’t speak in detail as to which friends, or what led to that theory, but they do mention that LAPD’s gang unit was assigned the case because they believe the Bloods are involved.

Honestly, they aren’t providing any new developments to the case. The ongoing theory is that they believe that someone knew Chris had $50k stashed away and it had to be someone close to him. I’m sure at some point, when they’ve exhausted all possibilities, they’ll probably suspect Chris Brown robbed himself.
