Virginia police are investigating a disturbing new Internet trend that promotes the spread of the coronavirus.

On Thursday, Purcellville police took to Facebook to acknowledge the new social media trend, after a group of teenagers filmed themselves coughing on produce in a grocery store.

“We have learned that this appears to be a disturbing trend on social media across the country, and we ask for help from parents to discourage this behavior immediately,” the police said in a statement.

The trend comes amid the coronavirus pandemic that has infected more than 250,000 people worldwide, claiming the lives of over 11,000. However, of the 275,125 cases, over 90,000 have recovered.

“We are asking parental assistance in monitoring your teenagers’ activities, as well as their social media posts to avoid the increase of any further such incidents,” the police added.

Although the grocery store was not mentioned by name, according to the NY Post, the contaminated produce has been removed. However, the teens are still at large.

Arrest every single one of them and charge them with attempted murder – murder if they give anyone the Chinese Virus.

Why is this an article? I mean seriously who doesn’t know that immature kids can have trouble gaging how serious something is. I honestly feel like these articles are aimed at the lowest common denominator and really diminish your guys credibility. To the guy who thinks that legal action is appropriate, I am so incredibly disappointed that your inability to actually think about things and you’re attitude where if someone does something you can’t relate to or understand then it’s ok if their punishment is way too severe. I’ve recently been having trouble dealing with how people are just so unintelligent and how if it was that guy’s son doing it he’d be singing a different toon which in my book makes him someone who should be deported.
