Just days after Pooch Hall was arrested on a DUI and child endangerment charge for a car accident involving his two-year-old son, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services has launched an investigation into the matter.
According to TMZ, as a result of the incident, where Hall was accused of driving with a .25 blood alcohol level with his son in the car, sitting on his lap, the young boy was released to his mother’s custody. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, as part of the investigation, officials are looking to speak with the child’s mother, as well as other members of Hall’s family to determine if the incident was normal behavior or simply a one-time thing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If the incident is, in fact, an isolated situation, TMZ reports that DCFS officials may leave the matter up to the courts. Although the boy has been released to his mother’s custody, sources say the two live with Hall, but according to the publication, there is no reason, at this point, to uproot the young boy from his home.
