Pop’s posthumous debut album “Shoot for the Star Aim for The Moon,” released in July of 2020, is now the record holder after 20 weeks at number 1.
This achievement pushes the late Brooklyn rapper ahead of the previous record-holder, Eminem, whose album “Recovery” spent 19 weeks at number 1 on the Top Rap Albums from 2010-11.
Pop Smoke’s album now shifts the list moving Em to the number 2 spot and Drake’s classic “Take Care” which spent a then-record 16 weeks at No. 1, to the third spot.
