Just weeks after Popeyes announced the nationwide chicken sandwich outage, the popular food chain has announced a new solution, “Bring Your Own Bun.”
In an attempt to capitalize off the success of the popular sandwich, Popeyes is offering the next best thing, just without the mayo, pickles and bun. Of course, haters would say it’s just three chicken tenders (which is already on the menu) but, if you bring your own bun, it’s kinda the same. Right?
As part of the marketing scheme, Popeyes even released a video to promote the new solution. But of course, customers were not amused.
Whoever is behind Popeyes’ marketing, you’re doing a great job sweetie.
