Fans of ‘You’ just can’t get enough of the psychological thriller.
‘You’ follows a man named Joe (Penn Badgley) who becomes obsessed with an aspiring writer he meets named Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Joe then begins to creepily keep tabs on Beck by obsessing over her social media, following her around, watching her outside her house, and getting rid of anything that’ll stand in his way.
‘You’ originally aired on Lifetime before being acquired by the massive streaming service.
Season two of the series was released just last month on Dec. 26 and became the No. 5 ranked show of Netflix’s most popular series of 2019, according to Deadline.
Social media users also couldn’t get enough of the show as it trended worldwide on Twitter for hours.
Following the show’s recent success, the series has already been picked up for a third-round by the streaming provider.
The third season will consist of a 10-episode order and will be released in 2021, Deadline reports.
Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will return as executive producers while Gamble also being named showrunner for the upcoming season, according to Deadline.
