Porn Star Ron Jeremy Charged with Raping Three Women

On Tuesday, 67-year-old porn star Ron Jeremy was charged with raping three women and sexually assaulting another.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said that the adult actor, whose full name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, is accused of forcibly raping a 25-year-old woman at a home in West Hollywood in May 2014. He is also accused of sexually assaulting two more women, a 46-year-old and a 33-year-old, on two separate occasions at a West Hollywood bar in 2017, and a 30-year-old woman at the same bar in 2019.

“Prosecutors are recommending bail at $6.6 million,” the D.A.’s office said in a statement. He faces a possible maximum sentence of 90 years to life in state prison if convicted.

Jeremy has a long history of being inappropriate with women. In September of 2017, he was accused of inappropriately touching KISW’s Kristin Brodie, who asked the veteran porn star to autograph her breast at the Washington state radio station.

“Our Rock Girl uniforms are just torn up T-shirts. There’s not a lot of coverage, so you can see the top part of your chest. There’s no need to move the collar, but that’s what he did to all three of us,” Brodie told the Daily Beast at the time of the incident. “He pulled our shirts open and reached inside our bras, all the way to the bottom and squeezed hard, almost pulling [our breasts] out of our bra, and for me, it felt like he was squeezing an udder or appraising something. It was very unpleasant.”

“I was nervous… but I was a Rock Girl and knew I was being watched, so with that knowledge, I tried to look unbothered and unfazed even though I was not,” Brodie went on to say.

While he did not face charges in these groping incidents, they did result in Jeremy being banned from many of the adult industry’s high-profile events.

Again in 2017, a popular adult film actress who did not wish to be identified also accused Jeremy of sexually assaulting her the first time he met her.

“The first time I met him on set, he put his fingers in my pu**y unexpectedly. I was brand new, outside smoking a cigarette, and he comes out just being Ron Jeremy. All of a sudden, he’s fingering me, and I’m like, whoa,” she revealed to the Daily Beast.

She went on to say, “He was just there as an extra on set, he wasn’t even there performing. We joke about it—there’s Ron, stay five feet away from him because he does that. We don’t think anything of it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t even register. It’s like, oh great; another girl got groped by Ron Jeremy, join the club.”

Jeremy has not commented on the charges.
