Porsha Williams Guobadia has officially announced her return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The reality star hopped on Instagram Tuesday afternoon with a bit of update about her long-awaited return. The Go Naked Hair founder appeared on camera in a chic yellow blazer to make her announcement.

“Porsha Williams coming back to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta?’ That’s false. But Porsha Guobadia is in the building! See ya’ll!” she stated, referring to her married name.

She was previously a cast member of the franchise from seasons five through 13. However, she departed in 2021 after season 13. She then got her own spinoff, “Porsha’s Family Matters,” which documented her life with her husband, Simon Guobadia, to whom she got engaged after just one month of dating. The series also showcased how she co-parented with her former fiance, Dennis McKinley, and interacted with the rest of her family. “Porsha’s Family Matters” only lasted one season, with viewers underwhelmed by the show.

In another statement, Williams Guobadia expressed gratitude for the opportunity to return to the cast in season 16.

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family. I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and showing the world my new world!” she shared.

Bravo also praised her return, which fans have requested since she walked away from the show.

“Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate, and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership,” said Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment.

Calling Williams Guobadia’s return a “partnership” could indicate that another spinoff or other show opportunities could be in the works for the entrepreneur. For now, viewers will have to wait and see what’s in store.

Nevertheless, welcome back Porsha.
