In the scene, the reality star meets with an attorney, where she opens up about the challenges of ending her marriage, revealing that the process has been far from easy.
“I haven’t dealt with the emotional part yet. I’ve had to deal with logistics,” Williams confesses. She explains that while she once believed she and Simon could “conquer anything,” her reality began to shift as she uncovered “a lot of different things that turned out to be untruths.” Specifically, Porsha shares concern over Guobadia’s refusal to discuss their money.
“He wouldn’t tell me what our finances were,” she stated.
This lack of transparency, combined with a looming threat of foreclosure, led her to take decisive action.
“I felt the need to file when I did to protect assets,” Williams explains, adding that she wanted to safeguard their home, which had been a major part of their shared vision for the future. The situation escalated when Guobadia reportedly sent her a cease and desist order forbidding her from filming in their home.
“You don’t play with where I make my money,” she asserts. In response, she sought legal help to ensure her rights were protected, including a request for an emergency court order to allow her to continue filming the reality series.
