Portia de Rossi has said her wife Ellen DeGeneres is “doing great” amid the controversy surrounding her daytime talk show.
Speaking to a Page Six photographer on Sunday while out for a walk, Portia gave the update and said that Ellen’s show is not being canceled.
When asked if Ellen would be returning to host her show, Portia said, “Yes, she is.”
This comes after conflicting reports said Ellen was considering stepping down from the show as rumors swirled about her and her executives fostering a toxic work environment.
Warner Bros. launched an investigation into the allegations that the queen of being kind, was actually very mean to her staff.
At least a dozen current and former employees have come forward, claiming the show’s executives are guilty of sexual misconduct, harassment, and bullying.
In the wake of the allegations, DeGeneres released a statement to her staff, saying, “As we’ve grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done. Clearly, some didn’t. That will now change, and I’m committed to ensuring this does not happen again.”
