Post Malone took such a lousy tumble during his performance in St. Louis Saturday night that he was helped offstage by medics.
He was halfway through his set at Enterprise Center, performing “Circles,” when he walked down a ramp that extended through the crowd. A hole in the ramp used to lower Malone’s guitar wasn’t covered up the way it should have been, and the singer stepped right into it.
Malone fell straight into the hole, crashing down onto his ribcage. Video of the accident shows him writhing in pain following the fall. A team of medics rushed down to him and assisted him off the stage.
The singer took a few minutes to recover before surprising the crowd by coming back out to perform “Rockstar” and “Cooped Up.”
“I wanna thank you for your patience, and I’m sorry,” Malone told the crowd. “There was a big ass hole in the middle of the stage. I just busted my ass.” Malone was a good sport, chuckling as he apologized to the audience.
He managed to finish out the rest of his set before sticking around to sign a few autographs.
Malone is currently on his “Twelve Carat Tour” and is scheduled to perform in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday.
