Powerball Jackpot Swells To Record $1.9 Billion After No Winning Tickets Sold

After no winning tickets were sold for the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, the prize has swelled to a record-breaking estimated $1.9 billion.

The winning numbers were 28-45-53-56-69, and the Powerball was 20. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, November 7.

At $1.9 billion, the California Lottery’s website estimates the cash value at a whopping $929.1 million. If someone wins on Monday, it will set a new record for the largest lottery prize ever.

However, the odds of winning the prize are slim: 1 in 292.2 million.

The Powerball prize hasn’t been won in more than three months. It was last won on August 3 by a ticket sold in Pennsylvania.
