President Biden Slammed For Calling LL Cool J “Boy” and Mispronouncing His Name [Video]

Many would agree that LL Cool J is like a household name. So many wonder how President Joe Biden butchered the legendary rapper’s name.

Biden honored LL and MC Lyte at the Congressional Black Caucus Phoenix Awards over the weekend. But the moment turned sour after Biden messed up LL’s name and referred to him as “boy.”

“Two of the greatest artist of our time, representing the groundbreaking legacy of Hip Hop in America,” Biden began. “LL Jay Cool J…uh…by the way, that boy, uh, that man’s got bigger biceps than my thighs.”

Some pointed out Biden’s age as the reason for the mishaps, with some saying everyone is considered a boy when you’re 80.

However, not everyone was so light hearted about it. “As always, can you imagine if any Republican said that? Would be leading the Sunday morning shows,” one Twitter user wrote.

What makes it even more interesting is that LL worked with the Biden administration before.

Last December, he was tapped to light the National Christmas Tree with Biden.
