Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed their first Netflix docuseries on Tuesday, titled Heart of Invictus. The multi-episode series will focus on the Invictus Games, which the prince founded. The games allow injured and sick military personnel to compete in different sporting events.
Local 1o reports that Prince Harry will executive produce the series and appear on the screen. Orlando von Einsiedel will direct, and Joanna Natasegara is set to produce the series.
Netflix said in a statement that the series “will follow a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe, all service members who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses on their road to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, now set to take place in 2022.”
The pair signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September to produce several projects for the streaming giant. “Heart of Invictus” will be Archwell Productions’ first series.
