Thanks to a unanimous decision by the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota this week, new rezoning will allow Prince’s Paisley Park home and recording studio to now become a permanent museum. Fans of Prince can expect Paisley Park museum to officially open its doors on Friday, October 28.
This means that Paisley Park will be open for public tours. The museum will showcase tons of Prince memorabilia, including his ashes. The tours are expected to bring in hundreds of thousands of Prince fans from all over the world each year.
Paisley Park will open its doors on Friday and tickets are on sale for tours through December 2016. For tour dates in 2017, tickets are expected to go on sale in mid-November 2016.
For now, outdoor events and liquor sales and consumption are prohibited at Paisley Park.
