Ray J’s wife Princess Love has filed for full custody of their two children and is asking that a judge order him to pay child support.
The Blast obtained new court documents that state Love is requesting full physical custody of her two children, Melody and Epik. However, Love does want Ray J to be granted visitation and wants to create a custody arrangement. In addition, Love wants Ray J to pay child support and also states that she wants legal custody of the children, which means that she would be the sole person who makes executive decisions for the children regarding their medication, education among other things.
Love and Ray J have had an on-again-off-again relationship for some time, but their relationship came to a dramatic end last year, which led to Love filing for divorce on May 5. In her filing, Love states the divorce is due to “Irreconcilable Differences.” The Blast reports that the money that will be shared between the two is “to be determined.”
Despite the legal issues, Ray J says he and Love have been getting along these days and co-parenting. “While we’re figuring everything out, we’ve just got to be the best parents in the world and just make sure we’re there for the kids,” said Ray J in an interview with US Weekly.
