Ballerific Travel: Private Island Resorts To Consider If You Want To Impress Your Bae

Exclusiveness can be inclusive. You don’t have to know somebody that knows somebody to have a private island vacation. Thanks to some resorts now owning their own private islands, the common folk awaits.

Many resorts and cruise lines own private islands and open their doors to visitors. Travelers can spend their entire trip or plan a day visit. Either way, there’s the chance to mark it off your bucket list.

Below are a few destinations where you can wow you’re bae.

Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas, offers both privacy and exclusivity. The resort owns the private island Barefoot Cay, which travelers can get to by a short boat ride from the property. Once there, guests will have an all-inclusive experience thanks to its clear waters great for swimming and snorkeling and space for relaxation.

Gili Lankanfushi in Maldives is a luxurious private island resort visitors can reach by taking a 20-minute ferry ride from Malé. The resort offers 45 recently refurbished overwater villas and three restaurants. There are also endless activities to do, like surf lessons and snorkeling trips. The resort’s Private Reserve villa is another standout feature, as it is the largest standalone overwater villa in the world and is only accessible by boat.

Jumby Bay Island Resort is a 300-acre private island off the coast of Antigua. Nestled in the Caribbean sea, the island is an all-inclusive resort that provides relaxation among its 40 suites, 14 villas, and 22 luxurious private residences.

Casa Morada, Islamorada, Florida. Located between Miami and Key West, this Florida Keys resort features its own small private island. Although small in size–16 suites–it offers plenty. Guests can access complimentary kayaks, bicycles and breakfast.

Moskito Island, BVI. For the real ballers looking to make the ultimate impression, take your bae to billionaire Richard Branson’s Moskito Island. Located off the coast of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Moskito Island offers a one-of-a-kind luxurious experience. Big bank ballers can enjoy one of the island’s ten private estates, a recreation area; a beach house; an infinity pool and bar; a tennis pavilion with two courts, a gym; watersports; a private chef, and so much more. Just ask Diddy and Yung Miami. Remember her viral Love Island birthday posts? Rates start at $17,000 a night, though, so make sure you bring your coinz.
