Promoter Suing Karlie Redd For Big Bucks

Back in August it was reported that  Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd  had been ordered to stay 200 yards away from promoter Christopher Powe (aka Pharaoh).  The initial report said that Karlie and Pharaoh were in a hotel room when Karlie, who had gotten drunk, went crazy and threatened to tell people that he raped her. Pharaoh also claims that Karlie locked herself in a bathroom and threatened to flush his belongs, including his two cell phones, down the toilet. 

Now TMZ reports that Christopher Powe has taken his legal actions a step further. Apparently he feels that Karlie dragged his name through the mud with her false allegations, both to TMZ and to social media, so he has decided to sue. Due to the alleged defamation, the money the allegations cost him and all the money Powe says he shelled out to hire a crisis PR guy, the promoter is going after Karlie for over $1 million. He also wants a retraction and an apology from the reality star.
