Things are changing quickly as results from the polls continue to come in.
Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert, 33, won a house seat for Colorado’s Third Congressional District. Boebert, who ran against Democrat Diane Mitsch Bush, won 51 percent of the vote. Boebert is known for supporting the QAnon conspiracy theory.
In May, during an interview with “Steel Truth,” Boebert acknowledged QAnon.
“Everything I’ve heard of Q – I hope this is real. Because it only means America is getting stronger and better and people are returning to conservative values,” said Boebert.
According to the New York Times, QAnon is a series of theories that suggest that the world is run by a cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles who are plotting against President Donald Trump while operating a global child sex-trafficking ring.
Katrenia Bush, who lived in Colorado for eight years, believes that there is a lot of misinformation being spread about QAnon.
“I think there’s a lot of “conspiracy theorists” spreading around stuff – but the information is exaggerated or inaccurate and then it’s like all together “discrediting” the real shit going on,” said Bush.
Boebert owns Shooters Grill, a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado that allows its staff to carry firearms.
