Quavo continues to honor his late nephew Takeoff in a newly released song titled “Greatness” following his emotional tribute song “Without You.“
The rapper teased the song by posting the cover art on social media, showing him sitting on the floor surrounded by platinum plaques.
“Countdown to Greatness,” he wrote in the caption. “#ForTake.”
In the song, Quavo reflects on the loss of his nephew, rapping that he would “give away all this sh*t just to see my dawg just one more time.”
However, the rapper also addressed the future of the Migos. He rapped, “So don’t ask about the group, he gone, we gone / Young n*gga it can’t come back, damn,” he raps.
Despite the riff between him and Offset, he said, “Never forget that the Migos amazing.”
The song was released nearly four months after Takeoff was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston.
