Quavo and Offset Reportedly Fought Backstage at the Grammys Over Takeoff Tribute

Quavo and Offset reportedly fought backstage at the Grammys Sunday over fellow Migos rapper Takeoff‘s tribute.

TMZ reports that the physical altercation occurred just before Quavo took the stage to perform Takeoff tribute song “Without You” during the Recording Academy’s “In Memoriam” segment. Sources told the outlet that the Grammys had asked Offset to be a part of the tribute. However, Quavo blocked his former groupmate from joining him on stage, leading to the fistfight.

Sources also added that Offset did not start the fight.

Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot in Houston last November. He was 28.

At the time of his death, the group had seemingly split, with Offset pursuing a solo career and Quavo and Takeoff releasing a joint project under the moniker Unc and Phew.
