Sunday night, Migos rappers Quavo and Offset graced the stage at the 2023 BET Awards to honor their late groupmate Takeoff. The reunion marked their first joint performance amidst rumors of tension that had swirled around the duo since last year.
In a heartfelt tribute, the rappers surprised the audience by making a grand entrance to Quavo and Takeoff’s Unc and Phew hit “Hotel Lobby,” instantly igniting a wave of excitement throughout Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre. They followed up with a riveting rendition of one of Migos’ most iconic hits, “Bad and Boujee.”
Last week, the duo were pictured for the first time together in months at a gathering honoring Takeoff on what would have been the rapper’s 29th birthday. Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, tragically died after being shot outside a Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1, 2022.
